There are no additional G01 documents. The only thing that would be different would be the engine, B58TU.

There are new documents available that pertain to the changes BMW implemented in the X3 between 2019 and 2020 model years (new head unit, live cockpit, iDrive 7, etc.). Check out https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1585744. The linked webpage does not include "ST1853 B58TU Engine." But if you google it, you can find it.

My understand is the X3 G01 even the 2021 does not support ID7 only ID6 so much that is talked about in those documents is not supported for the X3 at present. If I am wrong let know since this is what the Dealer told me about our new X3 we are waiting on. Not that I trust what the dealer says but I asked this specific question since ID7 support remote start and they was one the Wife's would like to have in her new car.

My car is a 2019 model, so it still has iDrive 6. Starting with the 2020 model year, X3s come with iDrive 7. I have never played with the iDrive on the newer X3s, but heard people on this forum describe it as iDrive 7 "light" (to be compared with iDrive 7 on the X5, which is supposed to be "full"). My guess is that the documents about iDrive 7 will generally be helpful but I agree that some of the features discussed in it are features that the X3 simply does not have.

With cars build after September 2019 X3 G01 supports iDrive 7 when the car was ordered with Live Cockpit Professional headunit.

But due to the G01s hardware platform is based on SP15 hardware, some functions which require SP18 hardware are not supported:

- Remote Software Update
- Keyless Go
- NFC Smartphone Key
- Driver Awareness Camera
- Assistant system status LEDs in the steering wheel
- Remote Start
- Climate control with voice commands

If the car was ordered with basic headunt it will still have iDrive 6.

Thanks for the clarification, so it the hardware version the X3 do that have that limits some of the functionality, does not surprise me the dealer has not clue. One SA said it had ID7 so I said then it should support remote start since most everything I read said ID7 and Live Cockpit feature was required which we ordered. Finally another SA insisted it only has ID6, no where I read it requires updated hardware.

Hi have found these really interesting so thanks, It there a more current version as my car is a 2021 30d MHT.
the latest engine specs and info on the MHT is interesting to me, also The Harmon Karon system has changed and I think the BUS system that controls all of this.
Thanks in anticipation

This is great - would like to know if the Driver Assistance doc was updated as part of 2022 LCI changes.
