Package Recommendation

Hi all, I'm wondering which package should I go with at this point for my x4 30i MY22 order.

Here's the two packages we have in Canada:

1.Premium Package Essential - $4,150

Head-Up Displace
Comfort Access
Ambient Lighting
Lumbar Support (Driver Side Only)

2.Premium Package Enhanced - $5,600 after HK deletion credit

Head-Up Displace
Comfort Access
Ambient Lighting
Lumbar Support (Driver Side Only)
Storage Compartment Package
BMW Driver Recorder
Leatherette Dashboard
Galvanic Controls
Parking Assistant Plus incl. Surround View
Harman/Kardon Surround Sound System (Not available at this time, will get $600 back)

I initially selected the Enhanced package because I wanted the HK system, but since it's removed I'm not sure if I still want to go with the Enhanced package at this point.

Another item I'm not sure is the Parking Assistant Plus incl. Surround View. I'm personally fine with the default rear view camera and parking distance control system, but my wife, as a new driver, might need the surround view system. Or the default system is good enough for new driver.

So it will be great if you guys can help me decide whether I should keep the current Enhanced package or downgrade it to the essential one.

You should stay with the Premium Package Enhanced, its a good deal as it include 360.

I went with:

Dark Graphite Metallic
20" Lt/Aly Wheels, Double-Spoke, Style 699M, Perf RFT
Black Vernasca Leather with Blue Contrast Stitching
Adjustable Seat Side Bolsters
Heated Rear Seats
Aluminum Rhombicle Dark Trim w/ Pearl Chrome Highlight
Premium Package Enhanced,

Unfortunately BMW Canada has removed a few features. They had the Ultimate package - that I what I chose. It was every option except smoking and trailer hitch (but with preparation).

I was coming from a manual transmission M3. Having the parking assist is not critical, but the cameras come in handy when parking in tight spaces (like my garage). The sensatec dashboard is a very luxurious feel (I selected the tartufo extended leather)

I would go for the enhanced. The 360 camera and drive recorder are nice. Also really like the leatherette dash.

But seriously, the 360 camera is a very nice feature to have even though I otherwise actively avoid gizmos. Now if that is the only feature you care about I understand why it might feel steep for $1500 CAD. Even I probably only care about the leatherette dashboard other than this. I say take it if you can swing it.

Not in Canada at least, we don't have the Parking Assistance Package up north.

No, in Canada its not available as single option even if you pick Premium Package Essential.

Only available in the Premium Package Enhanced as "Parking Assistance +" Package.

So the 5 options in Red are $1,450 Cdn ($1163 US) which is not a bad deal.

The Leatherette Dashboard, makes the car look more premium also, so get the Enhanced. I wish I had the leatherette dashboard

Hey Man,
For $1450, which probably you will make up most on the back end when you sell - its always good to have a premium optioned car for a bit more - and then you get to use it while you have those features, and probably recoup most of that money when you sell. Try and get anything from BMW for that price? I think its a no brainer. For my living in downtown Toronto, I need that 360 camera - tight parallels, tight laneways, so there was not much choice...
