I was astonished (and happy of course) once I saw tt Manhart was putting on a 305 on the rear...as no other of the more 'well known' Tuner does.

And as in Luxemburg the custom parts need to pass certification, similar to german TÜV, the obvious way wass to check what is done in Germany

So the plan for my car is actually:

Suspension: MSS
Wheels: Manhart (in the hope to get certification with MSS suspensions)
Power: Might go with Manhart, not sure for the moment...
Exhaust: Will contact Manhart for this as well
Bodywork: Front splitter normally RKP (best looking IMHO) & rear splitter MPE (if I don't find any similar product)
Really like your plan besides maybe the exhaust part.

Thanks, highly appreciate tt coming from you...your car is one oh those tt really stand out of the lot

Chosing an exhausts is always a difficult, tricky part...specially when only listening to their sound via media.

But according to the videos AUTO TOP NL put on YT, Manharts is one of those tt i liked the most.

Concerning front splitter, RKP is till now the cleanest to my eyes...but there was another one still in the process here on the forum tt comes close to 'my vision' of the finished car...but i can't find it any more.

Another thing i MIGHT consider is to put a decal set, like Manhart does, but for sure not in that golden color.
I might go a 'shading' lighter as the original BMW color...so you barely see it...but those ideas aren't on my prio list

If you find any alternatives to the MPE rear diffuser, let me know. So far, we only have the MPE and the 3D Design one, both very expensive. The beautiful RKP diffuser got delayed indefinitely. Akrapovic only made a diffuser for X4M. Any other diffusers out there?

Ordered a bunch of goodies for my non-comp from IND. Painted reflectors, black side vents and kidney grilles, black X3M logo and black/carbon fiber front and back roundels. Excited to lose the chrome!

Ratio wise for the diff is ok.
But, you'll be going 100mph on the dash, but actual speed is slower.
My guess is that they wanted to have the delta to stock of the overall ride height be both negative for the front and rear.

Just a little charcoal delete this afternoon. No tune or other mods. Did a quick run afterwards and it's probably just a placebo effect but the engine slightly *feels* like it's breathing a bit better when I'm accelerating. Didn't do any hard pulls yet. Also noticed that pulling out of my driveway (creeping along) felt smoother somewhat like it wasn't jerky or gasping for air. Again could all be b.s. but that's my experience so far. Entire process took about 30 minutes with me taking extra care not to damage anything.

Thanks r33_RGSport for your earlier thread on this process.

Excuse my ignorance, but are you guys just removing these filters or are you replacing them with an aftermarket filter? I've seen the eventuri replacement panel filters, but I'm guessing they are different.

I just removed these extra filters which are there because of US regulations much like the front and rear reflectors. I only reinstalled the OEM paper ones. Don't plan to spend $200+ for the drop-in filter ones.

Been waiting for your pic of these Fitment looks good and nice touch with the body color paint matching...did you do both the front and rear sections of this rear wheel well? or just the front section that you have pictured?

Being selfish , I'm more interested in the rear section one as its less about visual and more about potential of minimizing rear splatter on a wide wheel tire set up.

It seems like that is a pic of the rear arch/wheel well?

Does it help keep the lower fender, rockers and bumpers clean?

More pics and angles from the back please!!
