$580 per month X3 lease deal - Worth it?

Hi Guys,

I am looking for your advice.

I spent some time at BMW yesterday looking at a 2019 ex demo X3 in Texas. The car only has 1k miles on it.

I was offered a 15k lease for $580 a month. This also considers $2k down payment and negative $1k equity rolled in from my trade in.

Model is 2019 Sdrive, MSRP was $47.2, $9k discounts. Money factor is 0.0018 which they said they cannot move on. Car has 19" wheels and navigation - I didn't want comfort pack.

Is this a good deal?

Thanks.

I think it's too high but I need more information. What is the sale price?

You can play around with it here:

Adjusted price is 38,191

Phantom footprints and permaplate is 259 and 499

Total purchase is 38949

Then the usual processing fees, tax etc

Don't forget the 1k negative equity

I just picked up a 19 w/ an MSRP of $45.8k and a sales price of $39,5XX and my payments are $370/mo before tax. This includes 7 MSD's and $2,750 in incentives. Also, this is for 36/12k.

Just drive-off's, so around $1250. This was first month's payment, TTL, and whatever other mandatory BS fees they charge.

I just checked the Texas least programs (pretty much the same country wide). Buy rate on the money factor is .00145. The dealer is marking it up. If they won’t play ball, go to another dealer because they are lying to you that they can’t lower it.

If you have a 15K per year / 36 month lease it sounds like they are $2,200 under invoice on that particular X3, which is a decent deal. If you can use the $1,500 in loyalty because you owned/owe another bimmer, I think your payment considering the factors you provided ($2K down, current lease programs, $1K roll in) should be around $540’ish. Take their quote and go shopping.

BTW, 1K miles warrants even more savings. $2,000-2,500 under invoice is what I would be aiming for on a car with like 10 miles on the clock. 1K miles sounds like a loaner. Think about how many people beat on that car for the first 1K miles, lol.

Hope that helps!
