its wild how much car manufacturers can influence perceptions and taste lol... i remember when this was a poor civic mod... but bmw throws it on the CS models and its the coolest thing ever... same w porsche and their dumb stickers on the sides of cars and wings larger than an airplane... but hey its on a GT3, then it must be cool...

The yellow drl's brings back my 16 yr old jdm loving child in me. I got the yellow drl's laying around in my garage, just haven't worked up the patience to install them myself haha

I would install the option regardless if the cs models had it or not.

There are aftermarket cards for most BMW models. Open the heat sink & swap out the card. Can be easy or hard depending on model as some have two cards per side.



The Z4 is in the easy group with one card per side that is easy to get too. You need to do a internet search by your X3 car to find them.

This is my kit for my 2020 Black Sapphire Metallic Z4 M40i. If they last for a while will get a set for the M4C.

I totally agree but also it’s def a diff look with it being a diff color on LEDs on a newer model. I think we eat up anything that is different from how it comes from the manufacturer haha

Times we live in.. When I had my first x5 I was worried my halos would look yellow because they weren't LEDs and I was planning to upgrade so they would look white. Now we want to get yellow halos.

Back when I had my Jeep. I hated amber turn signals I changed the whole tail housing to get red turn signals now I wish my BMWs came with amber turn signals!

Thanks needmorepower for motivating me to finally install my yellow DRL's. Took me about 4 hours for both sides. My hands are tired and done from tight tight spaces.
