Thank you Palbay. Did you get a chance to hear how it sounds? Always appreciate your photos.

Apparently Summer / Fall of 2019 as a 2020 model with a possible CP version at SOP or the year after in 2021.

http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=901686

This is starting to take shape nicely although IMO, it is missing some of the aggressive characteristics one comes to expect from M vehicles.

I'm in the same boat. Want bad! There are a bunch of folks that have been waiting a long time for this one.

Thanks Palbay! I have to know those tire sizes... I swear they look like a 255/45r20 285/40r20 mix. Hmmm....

And the first pics with production M side mirrors (sorry M2 fans ) and what appears to be an M specific rear wing!!

Looks great. Do you think the M will have wider fenders than the M40i?

Looks narrow, hoping it gets those fender extensions similar to the X5M and wider wheel/tire setup.

I'm sure this has been rehashed a bunch of times, but anyone know why it's an "F" series when it is clearly built on the G series platform? Same with the new "G30 M5".

It's funny they still cover the BMW emblem. I'd rather buy an X3M than an X5M. Or I just get an X3 M40i.

Maybe they want you to wonder if it's an Alpina?

love seeing the M Mirrors! not sure on that rear spoiler, yikes! probably would look okay with CF roof and on X4M.

Seats look wrapped up, could they be M seats and not the ones shown previously? really hope so

I think the OP maybe mis designated as an F97. It's clearly based on the G platform and would have to be to keep in line with the model lineup. Manufacturing parts, processes, and methods plus the weight savings just between the F and G series would not be something Bmw would silo.

Is it just me or does it look like the rear shoots make this car look so small and pinched like a X1? It's messing with my eyes right now!

$80k loaded.

Starting around $70k

US pricing.
Figure $15k more than how you would build a X3 M40i
