Never tried with an m40i (never have had one in the shop) so couldn't say for sure but imagine the bumper is different plus the engine is different so pipe routing and size are most likely different as well.

Anything is possible but the most this could possibly be denied for would be a problem with the exhaust itself which at that point is Dinan anyway so we would be on the hook anyway. We don't touch anything after the cat/emissions controls so there is next to nothing that could be blamed on the component. Now with DPs you would be in a completely different situation...

There is almost no circumstance under which an exhaust should void your warranty other than any warranty on your exhaust system, or like, if it fell off while you were driving and damaged and bunch of other stuff, which is unlikely, but, I suppose, possible.
I know of someone that got a crack head and BMW NA said due to CAI. Owner lost.
Any aftermarket is still a possible red flag if BMW NA wants to be an ass. The money alone to take to court and fight is stupid. So going in there and taking the aftermarket route is always a remote possibly. Exhaust is more than likely bad cats need to be replaced on your dime.
There are many BMW dealers that are also Dinan dealers. One of them is BMW Manhattan, corporate owned dealer

I highly doubt they would sell Dinan parts and then void the warranty on the cars they installed them on

Will there be an option for smaller tips as well? They are a little too large for my personal taste

Sold only with the 4.5" tips but they are clamp-one so you always source alternatives if desired.

Haha imagine paying that amount of money for a stainless steel axleback. I got a full custom catback in titanium on my M3 for 2300, and it was much more intricate than this jumble of bent piping.

Zero chance you got a custom titanium exhaust for $2300. Zero

Just had a client install this today on his X3M Comp. Looks and sounds amazing! Even at idle it has a nice, deep rumble to it. Love the look with the ceramic black tips.

How loud would this be with a catless downpipe set up? Would it still be fairly quiet in standard mode?

You sure it was titanium and not platinum? For this price it should be platinum or rose gold.

Don't test with DP's for emissions reasons but the resonator delete/X adds roughly 10-15% more volume as a rough estimation so a DP would probably be more in the 25% range if I had to take a stab at it.

Ok but still somewhat quiet with the valves closed?

Outside the vehicle it's still going to be pretty rowdy I would imagine. Inside the cabin may be okay though. I will defer to anyone that's actually run DP's on the X3M (regardless of stock or aftermarket exhaust) to describe how big a delta it may cause.

Nice! Kinda wish the flush tips were also available on the M340 system.

I think the stock S58 sounds better than the stock S55 but not by much
