Good to hear. I too have a X3M non-comp and was eagerly awaiting reports from a non-comp owner on the MSS springs. So you are planning to do a 265/40/21 square setup all around then? What tires are your considering?

Vehicle rake

Thanks to Ben, I know the OEM rake is 15mm. Anyone increase or decrease rake when installing MSS?

Thanks, Ben.
Just got home with my mss kit installed. I'm lowered 1.25 inches all around and so far so good- that's after a 10 mile ride home. Also put on 12mm spacers with the stock tire sizes. I'm going to run on this setup for 500-700 miles and bring back it in to install 265s up front and 295s in the rear. I'll also do an alignment at that time. Hoping the 1.25 works out as I think it looks pretty good.

Thanks to Ben for the springs/spacers and Eurowerks for the install.

Dropped it more than Ben’s suggested set up. Maybe 5mm lower both front and back. Ride is almost unbearable. Bounces but yet because the suspension is pretty tight causes the car to “get away” on harsh roads especially at higher speeds. At this ride height in comfort mode it feels like the stock setup in sport mode. Sport or sport plus mode I just can’t. With Bens settings I could ride in any mode and it was better than the stock comfort mode. So I guess with dropping it too much results in less than ideal ride. After dropping it more it felt like the car was tramlining more and more crown sensitive on the freeways and at higher speeds. Plan to put on some old 20s I have with meatier tires and raise it if I have to. Keep you guys posted.

At that amount of drop, you'll feel the car bounces on small bumps at low speed.

Just purchase online and any reasonable tuning shop should be able to install them without any problems. If you buy from r33_RGSport , he will tell you all the settings for the optimal drop.

Couldn't bear the ride at that ride height. Raised it, just a couple mm's less than Ben's recommended specs. Also added my old wheels from my 650i GC with meatier tires. 20's with lips look a lot smaller than 21 monoblock type wheels for sure, but I'm getting used to it. 255/45 and 295/40/20 make the ride A LOT more pleasant and less worrying about potholes and dips.

I wonder if they will release a lower MSS kit like they did on the RS3. I want mine lower than the current kit can go. Happy enough with my H&R (more comfort than stock) but want more comfort and adjustability

How about if you let out a little air but also change the tires to all season 20 inch - would it change the rebound with softer sidewalls ?

My dealer in MA said MSS springs may void the warranty so he'd avoid it. I'd love to get the MSS on my X3M (non-comp) for the pothole bumpy roads around here.
