Interesting video. I see some people still didn't get used to the "performance SUV" concept. Somebody needs to offer him an MSS springs-equipped X3MC with a proper CF interior for a video.

Thanks for sharing - seemed like a balanced and informed review. The high-performance SUV concept is still relatively young, which may explain the difficulty some have understanding why they even exist. Suspect the discussion will be different in less than five years.

I actually like some of their reviews as it's nice to see details of the underpinnings of the vehicles but Mark is a bit of an odd duck. Sometimes he's so grumpy in his videos it feels like he hates his job and other times he's making out of nowhere jokes that fall flat. I actually like the reviews when the sidekick is with him as you get another opinion and typically more enthusiasm. I don't think he's a BMW fan in general though.

Funny how "Mark" was so down and angry (i.e., "You can put 5000 HP in a dump truck but it is still a dump truck") yet got all giddy when he was on the test drive.
This is the first review I have seen by him - not impressed. I've seen cashiers enjoy their jobs more than him. |

I thought it was a pretty fair review and was honest towards the average buyer. The final thoughts did sum up well what you're getting into with this vehicle. I normally don't watch Savage Geese due to the vids being way too long but this half take on M specific points was well done.

The video is right on point concerning the harsh suspension. My 911S does not rock my upper body and head sideways on bad roads like my X3 M. The suspension is overly harsh and unpleasant on anything but smooth roads. Hopefully, the mss springs will make the ride more supple and less harsh, but should not have to go to the trouble and expense. BMW should get it right
