Software update?

Has anyone received and completed the latest update? I received the notice overnight for my 2022 X3MC. Download was completed, but have not applied it yet.

I just picked my X3MC up last week. Yesterday I got the notice that 11/2022.60 was available. I installed it today.

It previously had 7/2022 on it.

Since the X is so new to me I didn't notice any difference. All of my settings appear to still be in place.

I received the update and installed it have not noticed any difference.

If you have remote start you just have to go back in and reset it.

I thought I read that software updates wipe out any coding done with Bimmercode. Has anyone noticed this happening with this update?

Why does mine say it’s on 11/2021.59?

I have a 22 x3mc and updates in my app are set to automatic and says I’m up to date?

Just got the push notification and downloaded new update a moment ago. Funny because it wasn’t but a month ago or so that I finally got the last update to go through after jerking around with it. This one pushed itself when I merely moved the car from one parking spot to another.

Did it yesterday,only thing it reset was the ambient lighting. Haven't noticed anything else....yet

I can confirm remote start and interior lighting color were reset.

Seems odd to me that we are just now receiving an update titled 11/2022.. but I am not familiar with bmw's versioning. I thought I was catching up to an old update.

Installed the update on my 2023 X3M today. Interestingly, I had coded a few things when I took delivery and it deleted the passenger mirror tilt to 30%(vs 90 factory), but it didn’t delete closing the tail gate from the key fob.

Going on a very short road trip in the morning so we’ll see if I notice anything else.

The best news with this update (11/2022.60) is that the NGHB (No Glare High Beams) coding did NOT go away. I lost that coding in a previous update, but not this time.

fun(or annoying) fact. if you download this update with the iphone app, and you are a lil sus of ALL apps and didn’t see why MyBMW needed local network access so you disabled that function…the car never sees the update.

Im still trying to figure out this sentence…you blocked the app from seeing local network?

That is a setting within the app. Just checked mine because my app is telling me that mine is up to date but I’m on 11/2021.59

Yeah (at least) on iPhones, you can block apps from seeing local network traffic (other devices on your network). Long story short, its like blocking a particular device on your home network from accessing the internet but the the device doesn't know it can't access the internet, its request just time out.

I lost my auto start after the update.

After the update my retrofit for digital key was in the app. Hopefully I can now ditch my physical keys!

Me too, you just have to turn it back on…. Under the climate control/cooling ventilation menu.
