Hello everyone, I'm Dave,
I read the forum a lot and have always found the discussions addressed very useful.

I am writing this first post because I encountered a first problem for my 2015 bmw x4 f26.

In the short term, when the surround view camera is automatically activated, the rear camera is faulty with a yellow warning, while if reverse is activated first, the rear camera works.

Has anyone ever had this problem? Do you think it is a software or hardware problem? I rely on the forum hoping to find an answer.

It looks like the car doesn't think the rear hatch is closed...
Possibly a sensor or connection to something related to that rear hatch latch?

thanks for your intervention, actually this error occurs after 5 minutes of running. If I leave the parking lot everything works regularly.

I should have an appointment with the car electrician next week
