Definitely high. There are not a ton of shops in my area so I consider my estimates high compared to Cali or other places where tuner shops are more prevalent. My quote was $800 for labor and $200 for alignment.

it should take 3-4 hours for install if they know what they are doing. 12 hours is absurd

Maybe they don't want to do it, or are so busy they want it to be worth their time, so they priced it high so you would go elsewhere.
My favorite Indy shop quoted me $2000 because he's so busy he just didn't want to do it.

That's insane pricing. Here are quotes I got just for labor from 4 BMW shops.
1st - $950
2nd - $930
3rd - $650 (without the wheel alignment)
4th - $450 (without the wheel alignment)

should take 4-5 hours max for install.

Just got a third quote from another reputable BMW shop. $2575 for labor and alignment.

Ordered my springs from r33_RGSport while the sale is on. Thanks Ben. The search for an installer that won't rip me off will continue.

No worries. I still really appreciate you suggesting them. I'm sure they do great work.

I now have 4 quotes ranging from $1500 to $2600. I'll probably go with Ultimate Bimmer Service. They have done great work for me in the past and said however long it takes that's what they'll charge. I'm just hoping they can figure out how to do it in less that 12.25 hours. 😅

Is anyone running these at their highest setting? I would like to change the spring rate but IMO suvs look better with the added ride height.

Here is mine day 2 after installing the MSS springs. I went with r33_RGSport recommendation tread count - front 10mm and rear 25mm. Hopefully they settle a bit lower

I had the eibach’s installed a few weeks. I wasn’t going for the slammed look either. I’m happy with the drop.

As far as the ride quality, I honestly can’t tell a difference. I didn’t think the ride was harsh previously so I’m happy with it.
