So the software fixes the Trunk not opening sometimes with comfort access with the foot sweep?
Problem I have is the heads up display having a shadow , or slight double image. Like it was out of focus. Went to 2 dealers and they said that's with BMW Spec and if BMW releases a bulletin they will let me know. My X3 and 3 series loaner had crystal clear HUDs |

When I first got the X4 my tailgate was opening intermittently at the setting just under the full open. I took it to the dealer and they couldn't find anything wrong. I took photos of my setting and then how high the tailgate was opening which was not at the setting.
They said they didn't do anything to it and it just stopped doing it incorrectly. Not sure how it happened but no problems since first few hundred miles. |

Craziest thing happened yesterday.
I had locked the car and gone inside. After a few minutes the kids says: The trunk lid is wide open!! ![]() I went outside and it wasn't only the trunk lid that was open - the car had unlocked itself, all doors, and both front windows was open 5-6 cm! ![]() Closed everything and locked the car once again. Taking it to the dealer today! To be cont'nd |

Picked up mine today. Very happy with it.
Issues so far: - scratches on the passenger door window. Across the entire window, perfectly straight. Production issue I think. Need to go back to dealer. - iPhone integration misbehaves, need to manually press play on the phone to get it to work. This however seems an ios8 bug, many people complain about it in all sorts of cars. |

So, it has happened again. This time it was only the trunk that opened. Doors were still locked and windows were up.
Dealer will take it in to investigate. Parking brake also had a hiccup. While driving, warning lights for P-brake and DSC lit up and a message came up saying something like: "Parking brake malfunctioning, DSC disabled. Continue driving with caution." I stopped the car, activated and de-activated P-brake. then the message disappeared and the warning lights went off. |

Regarding the DSC hiccup, dealer says that the DSC module will have to be replaced. |
