Front Plate Holes?

Hi guys,

I picked up a ‘20 X3MC this weekend and unfortunately it’s got some front plate holes drilled into the bumper.

I was trying to find if there’s an OEM replacement for this CF piece before I order it, I would prefer the keep the OEM look. I called my local dealership and they apparently have a new policy where they can’t give out part numbers over the phone but said there is a replacement piece. Does anyone know the part number for this OEM piece? TIA

You bet! My 2020 is in the same position with 4 nasty holes. Haven't brought myself to buying this part yet.

I had the same issue, I have a 2020 X4MC but the X3M and X4M have the same bumper trims. Here is the link to order the part.

Could just throw a few of these in for some contrast and save a oouple hundred dollars. Either black to blend in or something for a pop of color.

I've ordered them off of eBay, Amazon and Aliexpress.

Here's a link as an idea...

There’s 6 huge holes and also some peeling on the piece so its better that I just replace it, it’ll drive me nuts otherwise. I appreciate the insight tho!

That Autotechnic piece is simply a CF overlay. To remove the factory piece & replace it with that OEM part that was in their to begin with, you have to remove the entire front bumper.

I've done it twice & trust me, it's a lot of work. Not fun in any regard.

Why not just wrap it with CF vinyl.

Following. posted about this on FB a while back inquiring what’s the best options between the CF overlay and going OEM.

Need to set some time to plan taking the whole bumper off and replacing with the full OEM piece.

it's been a while since anyone responded, but what are some other options for a front license plate?
Those tow hook mount won't work, since the X3M doesn't have a front tow hookup mount.
In California, there's licenseplatewrap.com, which I might try actually.

Actually, the X3M does have a front tow hook hidden behind the little plastic door in the left corner...I believe it is a gloss black piece. I use the Rho Plate and it works perfect (although I leave it off and keep it in the car for when I get a fix-it ticket). The only issue is that placing it can be finicky as it could block the proximity sensors.
