I had no idea a lowering spring would be softer. Shouldn't is be the other way around... ?

now, take that spring in cut it in half - it becomes TWICE as stiff because the same 1kg weight results in only 0.5mm settlement. Yet many people will think it is the same rate as the coil thickness/spacing is the same. So, it could well be possible to make a lowering spring that is shorter, with a softer rate that feels just as stiff. |

Ive had them for 4 months. Love them. Lower, and softer, but just enough to where I wanted it from the X3M stock. More compliant, still stiff enough to have fun. Just a touch softer, but noticeable.

I went with the DINAN springs. But some experts say their simply a set of Eibach's with an extra layer of DINAN blue paint on them. Private label / rebranded type of stuff.

You said you were debating between other brands. Did you feel any ride comfort differences with the Dinan springs?

I was originally going to go with H&R. But they couldn't answer my question about the increase in spring rate. But DINAN clearly stated their springs were 20% stiffer. So I chose to give it a shot. So far I'm extremely happy the DINAN springs.

Yes, that's a piece of cake & automatically happens. You get a touch more negative camber in the front with lowering springs. So this is a given.
