Thumbs up Dark Graphite w/ Full Black IND Trim Pics

Check-point on my goodies so far:
  • IND painted side vent
  • IND painted front reflectors
  • IND painted front grill
  • IND painted mirror caps
  • IND painted front "boomerang" trim pieces
  • 20% front window tint
  • De-badged

Hopefully helpful for people leaning towards Dark Graphite (better than black IMO). I have not done the IND rear reflectors but could be convinced. I've got about 2k miles on her and she is my current daily driver. Next on the to-do list is some new wheels (black BBS is #1 on the list right now) & summer non-RF tires. Any suggestions welcome both for wheels and offset ... would likely go smaller wheel diameter for weight & comfort reasons. And on the last pic -- I spent too much on the car to be able to afford any ring (sorry babe)

Looking good! I'd definitely do the rear reflector delete as well. Looks so much better IMHO.

^^^ You think? I am a fan of a bit of contrast. Not everything blacked out on the rear bumper. But each is own. I am totally doing everything else black from IND. I am just a sucker for the red/ black contrast.

I think there is enough contrast with the taillights already. The reflectors are just out of place in my opinion. Granted mine is Glacier Silver but I like mine a lot better after doing it.

Great mods. This week I saw a black grille on a G01 for the first time. It made the kidneys look bigger and gives the front a more premium look in line with the big kidneys on the X5.
It's an instant mod I will do when my car arrives.

I hugely recommend it.

Looks nice!

I love the dark graphite and actually like the cerium grill. Offsets some of the darkness to me.

IMO the reflectors should have been placed on the lower portion of the bumper in the grayish area.

Appreciate the replies & opinions. You all convinced me to do rear reflector delete (IND gets more of my money ).

I was going to post in the wheel & tire threads but more fun to make this kind of a quasi-build thread. As you can see, I am running the standard OEM 19x7.5 (+32) with 245/50/R19 RF tires. I am likely going to spring for a staggered black BBS CC-R wheel set-up:
  • Front: 20x8.5 (+30) with 245/45/R20
  • Rear: 20x10.5 (+34) with 275/40/R20
  • Tires: Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+
Not going to be cheap, but I learned a long time ago compromise ends up being more expensive for me than just doing what I wanted from the get-go. Wheels below plus some outputs from willtheyfit.com to show the width difference (really cool visualization tool IMO):

BBS CC-R Wheels:

Front Fitment:

Rear Fitment:

Welcome any final thoughts / opinions before pushing the "go' button. I think after wheels + tires + rear deflector I will be just about done w/ this build. I think ...

Both those cars look fabulous. All I've done is replace the kidneys with M performance grills. But I need to remove all traces of cerium.

slick ride. I bet a set of eyebrows or lids would tighten that front up even more. Btw, has anyone seen these available?

I did gloss black. Prob going with gloss black wheels so wanted to match. Might look matte-ish because those pics were not in the sun.
