UK retrofitting specialists

Hey all,
As per the title, I’m looking for recommendations for retrofitting to my lci f25.
Specifically, newer f30 style steering wheel, possibly speed limit display (kafas cam already in place), maybe nbt evo too.
Any ideas?

Ps based in East Anglia but willing to travel.

For the wheels, look at the following site to see what might be compatible.

Id recommend an M performance alcantara steering wheel. There's quite a lengthy thread on LCI conversion somewhere on here. If you have lots of $$$$ burning large holes in your pocket id look at a 6WB dash cluster aswell.

Best wishes!

Yes 6wb is playing on my mind but it’s a toss up between that or idrive upgrade from nbt to id5/6.
Both coming in around £1250 so which would you go for or neither?!

Yeah but your car probably already has ID5/6 right?

Hi,

I am new to the forum - did you manage to code the KAFAS camera to your car? I am going through the same process, done the hardware but need to update the codes now...

no I didn’t have the hardware (Kafas camera) to begin with and it was going to prove too costly to retrofit this part.
I did however have the 6wb dash and later idrive plus screen installed.
Really improved the ambience but future readers of this need to be aware that as 6wb was never an option for the f25, you need to take one from a donor car. Mine came from a 6 series but, it was never configured properly which meant for example, the fuel gauge and remaining mileage was never right and the retrofitted never solved the problem.
