Basically the same but there is a difference depending on the torque rating.
I know the high torque diesels are not the same as the petrols plus there are also variances in ratios across the depending on what model it is fitted to. |

Found in VW, Land Rover, Porsche, Jaguar, Bentley together with Audi.

When I was comparing cars before the x3 purchase I was very impressed with the Volvo XC60 T6. That car had a 6spd transmission. One more + for the X3.

The auto 8 speed in the X3 is fantastic...My second fave tranny of any from BMW - second only to the DCT in the M cars..

X3 transmission is much better than the one in our Acura TL-S.
