Office Function Not working after 1st Service?
Hi All,
I recently had my 2011 X3 35i in for it's first service. While having having the vehicle serviced, they had to reload some software due to a display issue with the clock, on the centre display screen (where the nav display is). After I left I realized my office fucntion (e-mail & text) with my Blackberry no longer worked. I checked all the settings, and everything was in order (I have office checked off under configure phone) Any idea why this could be?

I went nuts when this happened to me. Simple solution: remove the battery from your Blackberry, put it back in and let it restart. Don't change any of the settings (like I did), for some reason the Blackberry won't connect via bluetooth, but this worked for me.

Few more things worth trying if the above suggestion doesn't work:
1. IDrive doesn't respond to certain changes immediately, one of them is Bluetooth. Unpair your device, delete Bluetooth device from the iDrive and reestablish Bluetooth pairing and connection. 2. Wait for 15-20 minutes 3. You may also reboot your iDrive by pressing and holding the volume knob for 20 seconds. Best wishes |
