2020 x3mc vvt code post oil change

Hello,
Trying to figure out why/ what to do about this VVT code im getting. I did an oil change and right after I got the code in the photo below. You can hear it when you unlock the car as I’ve seen on other bmw product but have yet to see anything about someone with the s58 encountering this problem. Not sure if something happened during the oil change as it came on after wards. Also something I noted is I can not get the service engine oil under vehicle status to go away despite resetting it and will not allow me to reset it again. (Picture also posted). Any suggestions would be appreciatedName: 0E75A133-7A7F-4BEB-95ED-9042013AF44D.jpeg

Edit: completely messed up the timeline, this light came on after I had installed my motiv reflex + kit. Not sure what I could have done but that’s the actual lead up story

Nothing specific to the oil change would have caused the code unless you hit/unplugged some wiring during the change. If re-tracing your steps during the oil change doesn't uncover anything obvious, then unless you have a scantool that can read the live data to get a better understanding of what's really going on you're probably in for a trip to the dealer.

I actually do have a scan tool that can live read the data from it. Will try retracing steps first. Do you know if there is something On the back of the engine that could have gotten unplugged related to vvt.

I believe the valvetronic servomotor is on the front left (drivers side) of the head (hard to tell from the diagrams). But the harness probably runs back from there.
