Great thanks.
I coded the reverse audible alert.

In Australia the speed sign detection is included.

That is correct way to do it.

Try using G030 and S15A.

Doesn't map to an item means incorrect connection target, but you are using right one.

No, has nothing to do with vintage.

Bunch of modules will not read can be memory issue or fact you are using Premium Launcher that does not have latest descriptions.

While I'm waiting for Tokenmasters Pro version, I decided to allocate more memory to E-sys. Oddly now I get 23 ECU's, but everything that's worth coding is trimmed The crap I could care less about isn't...strange.

Yes - do you have HUD? Do you have the full electronic dash?
If you have HUD you need to change the display settings so the directions don’t show on the HUD any more, then they’ll show in the revcounter window instead.

Anyone know how I can code the passenger mirror on how far it dips when in reverse? Standard it dips very far which makes it impossible to use to look where you are going, it's good that you see the curb but it's a bit to far. My previous E91 had the same functions but didn't dip that far.

It doesn't seem available in Carly or Bimmercode.

Thanks for your fast reply.
I don't have yet my M40i, delivery end of next week. Yes I do have the full electronic dash but no, I don't have the HUD. Is it still possible anyway to have the nav in the revcounter ?

Yes - it should do that by default 👍

Yes without HUD the nav directions appear in rev counter all the time mainly as a small box but then a basic map appears, replacing rev counter, just before which zooms in as you get closer to the junction or whatever the guidance will be, if on a motorway you get a graphic appear showing which lane to take

Which ECU's are you seeing trimmed?

You can adjust without coding or it is in BDC_Body (CAFD_000017BC or CAFD_00005FA9).

THanks this is what I found from another forum:
Quote:
BDC_BODY Module:
3110 > ASP_BORDSTEINAUTOMATIK_DELTA

I've seen ppl say their factory default is set to 3B which is roughly 54 degrees and I've read that changing it to 4B sets it at roughly 75 degrees. With that info I'm guessing there would be a 2B which would reduce the angel it lowers.

Give that a try and see if that resolves your issue.

UPDATE: Just tested it and it works. Default was at Werte 3B. At 4B it increases the amount it tilts in comparison to 3B and set to 2B it decreases the tilt amount. Based on what you're suggesting with having to hunch down to get a better view, you'll want to try setting it to 2B. I didn't bother setting it to 1B to see if that does anything, but if you have time you may as well give it a try.

BDC Body (3rd, 4th CAF), ACSM (partially--seatbelt chime part trimmed) were the main ones I was looking at.

Is the BimmerCodeApp.com website accurate where it shows what programming options are available for the X3 (G01) - or are there more options that aren't shown? For example, people talk about coding the Alpina display, but I don't see that listed on the website (or I'm just missing it)

No it’s not accurate.
Also I think the options available in app may differ based on region of vehicle.
I just added audible alert on reversing which is in app when coding but not listed on website.

The Alpina dash change is on the app, they added it to the normal mode on a recent update, previously it was there but only in expert mode

cvee,
What is the audible alert on reversing do? Couldn't find any details on this. Is it an interior or exterior sound?

No. There are inaccuracies like HUD Turn signals on F20/F30/F80 and vehicles with 6WB.

It plays the gong sound repeatedly in the interior when you put it in reverse.
I keep putting the car in drive, instead of reverse... especially when I’m trying to do a 3 point turn.
I thought if the car made a sound when put in reverse it would help with muscle memory.
All it has done is annoy the crap out of me.
I’m going to code it off.
