Turbo boost gauge?

I've searched but couldn't find an answer...

Is there a setting that brings up a turbo boost gauge into the instrument cluster somewhere?

Thx!

How do you get the HP and TQ in the instrument cluster? I couldn't figure it out.

Should be in the manual

Look under Vehicle on I drive. I think under the m settings, you have the ability to display the gauges. It's definitely somewhere under the vehicle settings.

I did look in the manual and found a reference to the instrument cluster widgets, but couldn't find out how to enable them. Seems like you've seen a reference in the manual?

The quickest way I’ve found to enable the sport display is to do the following: momentarily press the microphone button (on the steering wheel) and then speak the words “sport display”.

My mistake...I misread your post. Sorry. I see now that you were clearly referring to the instrument cluster vs. iDrive screen.

I believe those widgets are only displayed in a vehicle with ID v7 / Live Cockpit.

Perhaps someone can confirm. Apologies for the confusion

robopp Here you go. Definitely an IDv7/Live Cockpit requirement. See post # 8, scroll down to the 10th posted image. Thread also explains (somewhat) how to get the widgets to show up in the cluster (if you have IDv7 etc)

Do you get a lot from it? In all reality what are you really gaining from it? A cool gauge to say you are hitting 20psi, very 90’s

I don't think this is critical data, but i've almost always found myself peeking at the boost level when at WOT in my S4

...I'm still adapting to "BMW way" of things I guess ))
