Good to know GT500R !
honestly speaking , I don't feel so much difference from Stage 1 91 respect to Stage 1 93 .. The power feeling is the same . Maybe you can notice the difference with some 0-60 test .
In any case I keep load the Stage 1 91 that is less aggressive and more safe using always 100 UE Ocatane fuel ( 93 US )
For me is the best compromise .

You won't notice that based on your timing, the boost target is the same between 91 and 93, but the timing targets are different (93 being higher). And if your gas is the same between the tunes and they can't hit the target on either one your power will be the same almost

Stage 1 - 93 Octane
Gas - Shell 93 Nitro+
Ambient temp was about 70 degree Fahrenheit

https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5ecd...90c60ba611d1ec

This was not an intentional log, so i'll take some more a post them.

I also noticed many off you need to turn off DSC completely - to stop throttle reduction.

Per my other comment, not near timing targets and a bit of variance between some of the cylinders.

dang it, just did some pulls and nothing logged. However, when i go to "offline mode" they are all there. Seems like they are stuck. I am using the bootmod3 agent.
**UPDATE** i got the logs to upload by restarted the OBD agent and closing the app on my phone. Then reopened and reconnected everything. Here are the results:

Tune: Stage 1 - 93 Octane
Gas: Shell 93 Nitro+
Ambient temp: 85 degrees Fahrenheit
Elevation: 500-750ft above sea level
Note: most of these were done using manual and then flooring it (not kickdown) while 2.5K-3K RPM.

3rd gear with AC on:
https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5ecd...90c60ba611d1ec

3rd and 4th gear with AC off:
https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5ece...90c60ba611d52a

3rd and 4th gear with AC off 2:
https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5ece...0b4373874eeef3

1st, 2nd, and 3rd with AC off (911 creeped up and was surprised):
https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5ece...0b4373874eeef4

3rd and 4th AC off:
https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5ece...90c60ba611d52b

2nd and 3rd AC off:
https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5ece...0b43740cc3d1d4

3rd and 4th AC off:

Final run 2nd and 3rd AC off:
https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5ece...90c60b01ec127e

Verdict maybe Shell 93 isn't so good after all

You summed it up... I experienced the same thing, timing is no where near where it should be. You can go 91 but will still show same timing. Your options are go to 91 or add some E blend.

Is there a consensus on what 93 to use? If not shell, who?

Luckily I do have an e85 station less than 5 min from me. I'll add some next fill up maybe make it around e20 since it can take e25 stock. It won't be shell 93 though.

I just bought the OTS map pack. Going to try 91 tune (using 93 fuel (which is probably e10)), e30 (with e35 fuel) and 93 (using e20 fuel).

I also emailed support@ptf to see what they think. I'll report back too.

Shell was a no go

Sunoco was better but not by much

Mobil 1 on stock tune was good, will check with tune once I flash to an OTS map.

Gas always varies every time you fill up btw lol.
Also, look at your dragy to help you with the logs

Did not, no Chevron near me but I’m going to see if Mobil is OK and if not I’ll try Exxon or do what Rob does and just add some E to make it a higher blend.

So, I get that the stage 1/93 tune that I just flashed on my truck requires me to use 93 octane. Are you guys saying there is a way through bootmod to see if the 93 octane I'm using is really 93 octane? If so, What should I be looking for in the bootmod dashboard?

Not a fan of this, orange shit on the plugs / O2's and may (or may not) lead to premature failure.

You can't see if its really 93 octane but able to see if the quality of the gas is meeting requirements of the tune (timing).

You need to log a full 3rd gear and 4th gear run to see timing. If its sporadic across all cylinders and low, your quality of gas is shite.

Annoying that there is no E30 pump gas. It would solve so many inconveniences.

I use E85 Calculator and put 93 as E0 instead lol so I add a little extra for safety. Thats exactly what I've been doing 93map with E20 fuel, E30 map with E35 fuel.

Lots of E85 stations in FL though just add a few gallons to your 15gal of 93 each time to help it.
