Upgrade Turbo?

Haven't gotten my car yet and I'm looking to see what upgraded turbos are available for the s58 platform. Currently running Pure Turbo on my M5.

Heard that ASR is in the development phase. Any others?

LM900 has them and right now is putting 825 or so hp at 26 psi on pump gas. Pretty amazing.

Mosselman will soon have an upgrade set, too. They make great quality turbos, mostly for euro market.

Depends on your definition of long term and how good the tune is, but the technical brochure has some interesting tid bits on forged internals.

Good point. I did notice the bits about the forged internals. So when you go all out and upgrade turbos, BM3 won't cut it anymore. Who does your custom tune then on this side of the pond?

I’ll let GT500R test out the turbo upgrades. To try to squeeze out 800+ hp from a 3.0 l engine is a scary proposition.

Agreed. I think a jump from 550 to 700 is already crazy good. I just can't imagine an additional hundred hp and the motor, and drive train, being able to sustain the increased stress beyond any short-term track use. I seriously hope he proves my fears unsubstantiated. I'd be the first to admit it were that the case and the second to sign up for bigger turbos!

BM3 is World's First Fxx and Gxx series Custom Tuning Platform, the OTS is just icing on the cake that you can enjoy the platform maps that also see free updates. Once, you want more (either a specific fuel map or flames, etc) there's a bunch of well known tuners in the platform.
I personally vouch for my friends BM3Tuning also known as TristateBM3 they work with 2 different tuners depending on the car and hold top world records fastest B58 (340s in the world both in 1/4 mile and 60-130), etc.

I saw that but its a Euro dyno measuring crank gains not at the wheels. Also, its much better to see what it actually does in real world 100-200kmh or 60-130mph, 1/4 mile than just a dyno pull.
