Living in a warm year round climate, I made the mistake of using summer only Walmart stuff. Clogged up everything. They fixed it under warranty. I was lucky. I only use the OEM stuff now.

I'm curious as well - the SuperTech stuff, which is Walmart's brand is what I've used for years. I alternate between +32 degF for April-Nov and -20degF from Dec-March. One thing I have noticed though is that I need to be extremely careful opening the seal. The tin foil or whatever it is tends to flake and drop back into the bottle.
Not a problem on the Audi, there's a removable inlet filter right on top of the reservoir. Be nice if BMW did something like that. |
