Sirius XM module location

Hi,
My wife has a US X3, 2020. It has had Sirius XM working fine since she bought it.
That is until a week or so ago. The option to select Sirius just disappeared from the menu. If its easy to get to I want to have a look to see how much the module costs in case I need to replace it. I want to make sure I verify price for the exact same module currently installed. Does anyone know where the sirius xm unit is located in the 2020 X3? Thanks in advance,
hopefulboydy

Have you gone online to the Sirius website to have them send a refresh signal to your vehicle? And your account is paid up, right?

The SiriusXM tuner is built into your headunit…and if you have the shark fin on top of your roof…then the SDAR antenna (for SiriusXM in the USA) is built into the shark fin aerial.

The more I think about this…. If the subscription wasn’t paid up it would be stuck on channel 1 telling you to subscribe, you’d still be able to select sat radio…
OP- have you rebooted idrive? press and hold audio power till the system reboots.

Thanks for the replies.
The warranty just expired. The BMW dealer wants $400 just to find the issue.
Already tried a reset....no luck.
Thanks for the details on the headunit.
I dont think the wife call sirius yet. We will try that but since the car doesnt even think it has a sirius at all... I dont think that will do anything to help.

For sure Sirius will keep charging you even if the car receiver is inoperative, so the call to Sirius should be made. If they can't transmit a refresh to the car, you may as well cancel until you can get it fixed. The Sirius people don't like to cancel anything, so you may have to be insistent. Then when you get it fixed and call them again, tell them you were quite happy without satellite radio. They will give you much better rate.
