About to take delivery of a '18 with a pretty good deal. Better deal or that M Sport steering wheel?

I placed my order for my 2018 m40i around the middle of last month for a week 25 delivery, every time I check with the geniuses (status online is "order received with no confirmed production date") it keeps getting bumped out further. They're now stating week 30 production date (mid to late July). Does anyone know if it gets bumped out to week 31-32 (into August time frame) if it will convert to a 2019 model?

So very very disappointed BMW has not seen fit to include individual options in 2019 for the NA market. I put off ordering in 2018 in the hope itwould be available in 2019. Time to seriously reconsider Merc GLC 43 and 63. As much as I enjoy my current X3 it looks like its time to move on - Lots of promise on BMWs part to offer individual options but no follow through. Oh well.....

Due to capacity constraints, a new alternative will be made available within ZMP M Sport
Package: ZOD Remove SensaTec Dashboard. The credit offered for this option is $280.
Could someone share what the "non" SensaTec dashboard would look like? I am looking at a build with this exact issue.

I'd guess it's the same dash as the regular 2018 xLine x30i (not bad, but it is plastic). Go check one out at your local dealer.

Congurator still says 2018 for m40i and xDrive30i. Only sDrive30i says 2019.

Anyone know date 2019 m40i can be ordered? And when dealer knows allotment? Been burned on lack of allotment ordering a 2018.

Anyone hear if extended merino can be ordered in the USA like it is for the x4 on the x3 m40i?

Greg Poland at Pacific BMW yesterday said the 2019 X3 order bank was open. So it sounds like you can order now. I'm figuring out an order for a 2019 X3 M40i to replace my 2018 M40i. I'm changing from the current 21" to the 20" wheels and getting the Adaptive M Suspension. Even though Phytonic Blue looks great, this time I'm going with Alpine White.

I get various answers on ordering from local dealers here in the Denver area. Hopefully this will all sort out soon. Evidently I missed the window for a 2018 and now I have to wait for a 2019. Darn!

How much are you expecting/offered for your '18 M40i trade?

Up until today, I really thought I'd be ordering a G05 to replace my '18 M40i, but the ordering guides/options revealed today for the X5 40i really let me down. Perhaps a '19 X3 M40i with an M Sport Steering Wheel, M differential, and different ext/int color combination would hit the spot??

I'm curious what folks are finding currently in terms of price & incentives. I'm hoping to order a '19 M40i which with options comes to about 63,500. My local dealer is offering me only 2,000 off on a factory order, plus another 1,500 if I finance through BMW. I'd like to buy locally, but is anyone really paying that kind of price? Or is it that on the forums, we hear only about the great deals?

Thanks for any data points or perspectives.

So far, I'm able to get 1k under dealer invoice. About 7.5% off msrp. Being the 2019 X3 isn't scheduled to begin until next month, makes it kind of hard to try for 10k off msrp. On just about to be leftover 2018's, it's a lot easier.

Can't help with pricing since my X3 is a buyback.
