Some dealers will order for inventory so they will be out there, maybe the over 60 crowd in FL.

Pricing looks pretty reasonable... if the G80 M3 packages and pricing are aligned with this gonna be a tough choice between the two

really like the simplicity too, lots standard, rest in exec, driver assist for those who want it and to comp pack or not to comp pack

I actually find it kinda amusing that ventilated seats is floating out there on its own in the wilderness

Comp pack isnt too bad of deal either for the 7k, MOAR power, MOAR sound, 21s ($1200), Extended merino ($1000), Msport seats ($950), blacked out trim (priceless)

I think I would go for Toronto/Adelaide, w/ exec and maybe comp

Hardest part for me is the battle between "Do i want to competition" vs do I need competition!" Want=yes! need=kinda....

Personally I get stuck within exec pack. This will be my car but if I'm spending $70-80k the wife will give me hell getting it without pano roof and I would like the M-HUD plus heated wheel why not. Then it's only $4k more for Comp pack with those options... so sheeeeiit.

So fully loaded this is about $4k-$5k cheaper than f pace SVR. Expect some deep discounts on Jaguar lots.

Load up an F80 M3 comp right now and see where you come out...low 80s...do you expect them to drop the price for the G80?

And about $18K less than Macan Turbo w/ Perf Pkg (tried to keep similarly optioned with - jet black metallic $700, Premium package plus except that throws in the panoramic roof $3.6K, turbo ext package $7.9K, adaptive cruise $1.4K, and carbon fiber interior package $940).

A bit shocked sunroof is standard on X4 and not X3

That messed up my guess at pricing. I thought my build would be $82k-$83k but it's $84,500

$8,000 more than my 2016 M3

But considering the following that's not bad
-has full LED lights, M3 has xenon
-AWD Usually adds $2k
-larger wheels (21" vs 19")
-more power (a lot more)
-more tech like active cruise control, collision mitigation, blind spot...

-downside no full leather

Am I missing something or is there no surround view/3D camera? Not standard and don't see it as an option. Or is this included in the executive package somewhere? Like part of parking assistant plus?

Option HD says "Full leather Merino/Alcantara"
In the puke yellow color combo?
Haven't seen anywhere that it includes leather dash. Maybe a typo? When you change from any other leather the dash and top door panels don't change in the image like they do with full leather on other models.

This is easy. G80 will be more expensive. F80 M3 MSRP was around 66K and F82 M4 was 69K.

https://www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/m-mo...YDNw&gclsrc=ds

The X3M came in right at the same price as the M4 which is what I anticipated.. and inded.. just a few K more than the sedan variant.

X3M40 maxed out at around 66K with all options.
X3 M base price at 69K simply fills the gap in the product line until the G80 comes in higher
X4 M base price at 73K is right above the M4.

Hopefully the order bank opens soon with SOP slated for April.

Glad to see the simple configuration (few options/etc) - a little like the M2 when it came out.

My X3M ZCP build (Donington Grey + ZPX + 4FH) comes to $82,695 before TT&L. Pretty solid value to me compared to Macan, F-Pace and GLC AMG.

Agree, 100%. I was super excited at the pricing, then went through the list in detail and was pretty bummed to see it isn't an option on at least the X3M. So much for the elusive single quiver.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to make fun here at all. But I see everyone going bananas here for the moonroof delete option.

Wut?

You're in an SUV. You don't notice it in an M3 if it has a moonroof, and you're sure as hell not going to notice it in these things.

These are great trucks that handle well for what they are, but I can't imagine anyone tracking this, so really, get the roof folks.

I assume you don't mean the F48 X1? The original is more like a tall wagon.

Some just don’t want it, it has nothing to do with performance. BMW sent me a questionnaire (owner circle), guessing everyone gets them but I know it was a question months ago. Maybe they listen?

I would take it off every car and SUV I own. I never use it and always keep the sunshade closed. Less weight, more headroom, less expense, safer and quieter.
