I think these photos capture Phytonic Blue perfectly and in multiple light scenarios. Anyone who wants to know the true color, this thread shows it. I would have kept the OEM wheels though.

Looks nice. LMs were an interesting choice. I probably would have gone with something different on an SUV, but they certainly don't look bad by any measure.

Looks great, but why did you ad spacers? Were they not able to produce the LM with the proper offset you wanted?

First, NICE car. Best of luck with it.

I'm torn on the black grill. Don't get me wrong, it looks awesome... I just also like how the wheel centers matched the gray grill. Both look great so...

May I ask about the wheels? I wonder why a more aggressive fitment wasn't specified. Was the goal to retain OEM tires? It seems (albeit from 3000 miles away) like the vehicle could fit a wider rim/tire.

One more on the wheels.... I'm assuming you bought an off-the-shelf wheel center to save cost; or you wouldn't need to use spacers. Is that what's going on?

Not criticizing your choices at all. Only curious. This is a vehicle under consideration for my next purchase.

+1 here. The gray grille matched both the OEM wheels (which I think looked just great) as well as the aftermarket BBS wheels.

Dark grilles and painted turn signal covers have gone too far these days... worse than Euro Clear corners on E36..

This past weekend, I added the M Performance decals and removed tinted fogs for more contrast on the front end.

I know some may not like the M Performance decals but I think it's a nice way to make the profile look a bit more aggressive. I may remove them down the line but for now, I'm having a lot of fun with them.

I used aftermarket extended bolts in order to ensure safety after installing the spacers.

Thank you so much. I love how phytonic changes in different lighting conditions. In direct sunlight, it even looks a bit estoril. Haha, I paid extra for the factory 21"s as I think they're one of the best looking OEM wheels but my plans to stay stock didn't last very long, haha.

Appreciate your kind words. LM's have been my favorite wheel for as long as I can remember and I had them on my 2 other BMW's. Decided to give them a go because I rarely see them on SUV's and wanted to be different.

Thank you! The offsets from BBS would have fit well and would have ensured no rubbing no matter how wide the rubber. Because the factory Pirelli's have a sloping sidewall, I decided to go as wide as I could without rubbing for a more aggressive stance.

Really appreciate it! I do like the cerium grey accents but to me, the gloss black is a tad more aggressive and sporty. I don't think you can go wrong!

Thanks so much, Glenn. Yeah, I went back and forth on switching out the grey accents and I did love how they matched both wheels. But I think the gloss black has a sportier look to it whereas the dark grey is sporty with a mix of classy. I wanted to give the SUV a little more edge so I went gloss.

Regarding the wheels, BBS only produces certain widths and offsets as they are not a custom forged wheel company. The specs and offsets from BBS would have looked good but I wanted to push them out as far as I could without rubbing for a more aggressive look.

Def appreciate your thoughts. Haha, but I love the euro clear corners on the E36! Dark grilles just add a sportiness to the car that I love. I may have a different opinion in about 10 years tho, haha.

Great color choice! Congrats. Definitely a beauty. I'm also getting a Ceramic Pro (5 years) done at the end of March, plus a paint correction

So many comments to share and so little space.

Your car is simply photogenic with the array of tasteful modifications. I hope to see you on one of our SoCal freeways.

It took me a few moments to appreciate the aftermarket wheels. Nice! I already read your response about OEM wheels. Glad you are keeping them. I like this OEM design as well.

What ceramic coating did you select? One of the best non performance modifications.

First, I'd like to say wow! Car looks great! Not a fan of BBS wheels usually, except when they make oem style but on your car it looks good.

How does the suspension react with adaptive and lowering? Is it still softer on comfort mode?
