Nice to have verification. They’ll look nice.

I ordered the 17” version of those Pirelli for my 328ix. They received some good reviews.

They will fit, but they might poke out more than you like visually. I think it will look fine, it's only 1 cm difference..

Ordered 20” fc04’s from fastwheels in a metallic black.

https://www.canadawheels.ca/fast-whe...ic-black-w2290

Then got a killer deal on some Toyo observe g3 tires in a square 245/45/20 setup. None of it has arrived yet which is fine as it’s a lil early but I’ll be curious to see how the wheels look once on.

All obtained from a local shop.

starting to look for a winter set up. I would prefer 18" since they will offer better traction and I need it in this country. I heard some 18" fit the m40i sport brakes and some don't. Is there anything in particular I can look for to know if they fit or not?

I don't think 18 vs 19 is going to affect traction. You would probably need to find an 18 with a tapered barrel to clear the caliper, might be more trouble than it's worth figuring it out. Your weather probably isn't worse than ours and I went 19s.

The width of the tire is what is important. The less width the more weight per square inch, the more traction you're going to get in deep snow. I'm sticking with the stock 19x7.5 wheels for winter myself and getting taller, wider wheels for summer.

Here's my winter setup. Just got them mounted up today. ART 19" winter wheel with a toyo observe 235/50. The price was too good to say no.

Oh I guess I should say "Hi" been lurking a bit but haven't posted until now.

Has anyone gone ahead with 235/55/19 tires? I'm leaning towards Pirelli Ice Zero FR in 235/55/19 and RTX OE Graz Black 19x8.5 wheels.

Any thoughts, particularly on the tire size and how it will look on the vehicle? 55 is a pretty high ratio so I'm afraid it will look like too much tire.

Awesome, any chance you have more pics? Potentially one that is a wider shot?

Tires look a bit chunky, but not terrible. Thanks!

The sidewall height is the same for 255-50-19, aspect ratio goes up as tire width decreases to maintain the same sidewall height. I wanted some chunkiness to keep the wheels safer, overall the total diameter is within 1-2% of the 21s.

They are Autec wheels. Exact size as BMW OEM at 19”, ET 30, 5 x 112, width 8”. Fits the car with standard bolts and no fitting kit.

Tyres are Bridgestone Blizzack (245/50/19).

Came from UK company mrwinterwheels...

698m wheels are 7.5 , +32 offset

Same goes for 691.

I personally think 7.5 is too narrow

Sorry. Stand corrected.

Still a pretty good fit and no fitting kit required.
