Finalized order and snagged a January allocation. Appreciate everyone's input. Can't wait for the car, I mean SAV.

Congrats

Don’t forget to add the mobility kit option so you get more space in the trunk for your clubs

No regrets.
Even though I placed a factory order, I wish pano roof delete was an option. I despise those things so much that I would have paid extra to not have the pano roof.

BMW - are you listening?? More money for your stockholders.

Just curious .. you optioned the 765M Alloys over the 892M Alloys, I went down that route also with my order, Had a change of heart / mind and superseded my first order with the current order with 892M Alloys (Thanks be to Max Well and Spoonhead's input)

I like both wheel options and have been going back and forth. The 765 look much easier to clean.

Likewise, exactly my thoughts entirely, having spent most of my former car ownership detailing my cars for "show and shine" and "Concours" events.

My change of mind was brought about by the Silver finish to the 765m vs the "black" finish to the 892M, with my X3MC being MBB with all the black comp trim , the 892M's would suit better, overruling the "easier to clean" 765M. The 892Ms are the new LCI Competition wheels also , and a smidge lighter I believe. I'll just need to expand my detailing kit to cover the more time consuming / complicated wheel cleaning process.

Valid points with MBB, 892s will look great.

I think either wheels will really accent Brooklyn Grey, so I'm struggling a bit. Haven't made a change yet but could go either way at this point.

I feel one wheel has a sportier look (892) and one has flashier look (765).

Updated the wheels to 892M. I do think that wheel color is a perfect fit and I like that it shares these wheels with the M3.

Actually not quite the same Competition Wheel as per the G80 /G82 (826M) , slightly different perhaps just in the sizing? The pattern looks identical ...

Max Well covers off the X3MC LCI BG in his comprehensive Thread , a very good read and some well presented photos

To the OP, I went from F80 to F97 and I couldn't be more happier. It's so much more usable for me. It's also WAY faster.

I want to love it, I just don't. Not too mention, my dealership has 8 people on M3 waiting list with orders and won't even take another order at the moment.

Then came the 2022 X3M Competition. Shares the S58 motor and provides a little more practicality. I lug around 2 small kids so it's an easier sell to the wife. Not too mention she thinks the M340 seats are terrible (she has no clue).

Appointment at dealership at the end of the month for software update and oil change on M340. We'll see how it goes (if I don't place an X3 MC order sooner).

Anyone else made this switch from sedan to SAV?

I took delivery of my 22 X3M comp after 2 and a half years in…you guessed it, a 20 M340i. You and I are in exactly the same boat here and I'll gladly tell you, you're going to be super happy with the switch. The M340 is a great car and the B58 is an amazing engine but the S58 is something else! And all the extra space makes if far more practical.

The X3M is such a beast!

A set will fit no problem. Two can be a challenge. You might have to put the drivers is separate

That is the reason I moved from a x3mc to a x5m

Congrats on the ride! Same boat for sure, little over 2 years with my M340, which was a great car.

Absolutely can't wait for X3M Comp and the S58 next month. Looking forward to a little more room too

Did you ceramic coat or PPF yours yet?
