I'd avoid the Dealer on item like this, too costly and there are only a handful of battery manufacturers, BMW obviously buys from one of these companies on private label basis

I was worried about coding, but if the autoparts stores can do it i will look into that, thanks.

Best to phone the auto parts store- one of the Pep Boys shops I visited had the computer but nobody who knew how to operate//code the car. The store manager sent me to another store that had an a tech that was trained.
