2022 BMW x3 m40i  [10.00]
XHP X Delete G series

As the title says we can now switch AWD off and configure between AWD, AWD Sport, AWD Snow and RWD. But only G-Series up to 06/2021.

I'm not sure why though, need to more research for us 6/2021+ .

I would order it straight away if it would work with newer models.

Would be interesting why newer models do not work and if they will work in the future...

That would be incredible for snowy roads. RWD lets you get the back out at much lower speeds. The downside of xdrive (especially with snow tires) is the traction is so good that you have to be pretty aggressive with the throttle to get continuous oversteer. Which is fine on a wide open parking lot, but the margin for error on a curb lined road is very slim.

What repercussions would this have in terms of component wear?

We can?

Seems like false advertisement, at least for G cars.

Right, but look at the 5 AWD mode breakdown chart, the G only has that stupid AWD custom applicable (???), which is 100% (stock) and 0% (RWD ???). And says if your G is staggered then you are stuck at 0% in AWD custom setting?

wtf !

Aww...ok lol I didn't read that far since I lost interest after reading only for 6/21 and older.

What I understood is that you can select how much % you want to transfer between front & back. So, e.g., I could put 30% front and 70% back

However, I don't know how it applies to a staggered setup. I guess we should contact them for clarification.

Frankly i will be content with xdrive on (100%) and rwd only (0%), and if this is supported for staggered setup with G01/G02, then much more favorable with local dyno shop.

Yeah, this advertisement makes little to no sense at the moment.
