Center console armrest latch broken

The latch on the centre console armrest has broken on my 2020 X3 GO1 X20d, anyone know how the armrest comes apart? I feel the latch itself is probably repairable. The only replacement part I can find is the entire armrest and not the latch assembly. Seems like a waste if there is a way to get to the latch assembly to repair.
