NICE!!! What is the code for width driver's seat? I have lumbar noted, 487. But the order guide doesn't list width adjustment code. Also, what is the code for trunk rails that everyone is mentioning gone?

Driver width is 491. The rails should be part of the 493 Storage Package but that seems to be a mystery one.

Just a quick question. Production date of 9/27/22 means only the car is completed that day? Then, it's another 7-10 days or so to get to the dealership, correct?

Correct, the production date should be when everything is finished. There is a quality check that can be quick or not quick.

The transit time depends on how far the dealership is from the plant and if there are enough vehicles for a full truck. There have been issues with trucking shortages/delays here as well.

My production date was 8-11. I'm in Southern California & my car still hasn't arrived at the dealership.

Oh my! Any idea where it is and when it might be to the dealer? That is one hell of a wait!

It was supposed to arrive at the VPC in San Bernardino on 8/25. Which is about an hour away from the dealer. Its een in transit since 8/17.
Talked to my CA yesterday he said they did some inquiries because he also has another M40i custom order on the same train. We mentioned we've heard they have been arriving with "missing parts" but left it at that for now.
He said it has been "a mess!"
He got back to us & said it has arrived & being unloaded from the train & then needs to be inspected, so maybe another week. I'll believe it when I see it. We heard this last week as well.
I think ordering from Germany was easier & almost faster at this point.

Wow, I am sure it will be worth the wait. Seems like with each stage the vehicle goes through the wait gets tougher and tougher.

It sure does! We sold my 440i in June because the used cars prices were so good. Still glad we did because they are dropping & if we would have waited for the M40i we would have definitely lost money. I will say this wait has made me appreciate that I'm able to own a car & not to take for granted the things we have.

Thank you! When I originally ordered dealership said 7-10 days after production so with no delays on transport it would be first week in October before I get the car.

That sounds about right for the midwest, hopefully there is some wiggle room in there and they are able to unload and inspect it pretty quick.

I noticed that my car doesn't return the code 0491...

It does have Cognac Vernasca leather (MAPQ)
0459 Power Front seats
0461 Rear seat back adjustment
0481 Sport Seats
0487 Lumbar support driver
0493 Storage package
0494 Heated Front seats

What is this width adjustment?

adjustment of the side bolsters. It's deleted with leather. Hasn't been coming on the sensatec cars either though

Well I guess I'll find out when I get the car. I can live without width adjustment. I want the surround cameras and a few other critical upgrades that are too important to me.
