2023 X3 M440 ordered 7/13 is status 112, week 33. Fully loaded, Tanzanite Blue. So far the tailgate kick feature is the only thing removed from the build. I have asked for acoustic glass and passenger lumbar, but it's doubtful they will get approved.

I'm interested in learning more about acoustic glass; was that previously an option for X3's? It clearly wasn't offered on 2022 or 2023 X3s. It's standard on the X7, but I don't see how that glass would fit on an X3, as it's a different size / shape.

I think acoustic glass was only option (or standard, cannot remember) in europe. Not available in NA.

I had asked my dealer if I could get acoustic glass added to my build from factory and was told no.
There is a post in here with the part numbers and how to replace.
I have a decibel meter I bought just for this. I took various measurements in my Audi which had acoustic glass. So I'll do a comparison to my X3 M40i when I get it next week. In my Audi at 70-80 MPH highway speeds, it hovered around 65db in front center of car. The more you moved the meter closer to the window, it would increase to 70-71db right at the driver side window.

The Car Confections review of the 2022 X3 M40i on 20” wheels includes a decibel meter test. It comes out at 51.9db at 55 miles per hour in Comfort mode. I assume this is without any acoustic glass. I’d like to know 1) how loud is the car at 70MPH and 2) would acoustic glass make a big difference?

It was available as an option in the U.S. four or five years ago on the X3 for ~$100. It is still available on the X3 in other markets. In the U.S. you can buy the acoustic X3 glass from BMW parts and install it. There is a Bimmerpost thread on DIY.

I'd be willing to bet there isnt enough parts for the parking assist pack... or maybe the drive assist pack.

I think you're right. CA just updated me that the X3 M40 model is hit with a parts shortage. According to CA, it's all models in the system right now, not just mine.

Mine moved from 112 to 105 today also. The genius said they didn't know why. The CA looked into it and got it moved to 111. He says parts shortage and the color caused the delay. New date is week 42.

I have a week 33 production. Been in 112 since 7/14.

Today the status moved back a step from "Scheduled for Production" to "Order Received".

I see a few others are having the same issue.

I wonder if it's the remote start or heated features

Originally had a week 31 build and sat in scheduled status for couple week and around the same time of everyone else in this thread, my build went back order received status.

The Genius couldn't give me any other information other than it was requested for week 31 and delayed until week 33. I have parking assistance package on my build as well.

I had a week 36 and now week 39. I have just about every option except vented seats and 50th anniversary emblems.

I'm willing to wait as long as all the options remain. Hopefully all of us are safe since all of us should have priority 1 order status.

I ordered with a new dealer modified a 112 Status vehicle.

We gave up waiting and gambling on available options. Bought a CPO fully loaded X3MC instead. Had a low mileage used car we’ve been waiting to sell and price had been dropping so we didn’t want to risk it anymore.
