X3 and X4 Drivers and their watches~ What's on your wrist?

I like watches. I inherited some from my dad and added a few more over time. Some are cheap, some are expensive, some are mechanical or quartz. But all are accurate twice a day.

Let see yours.

I have one watch that my brother bought for me as a best man present. It’s a Raymond Weil RW Sport. Someday I’ll pull the trigger and buy my favorite. Rolex GMT-Master II. But for now, I do like mine.

Unfortunately- too many to list. I just haven't gone down the road of REALLY nice watches for several reasons…. Mainly because my taste changes every 5-10 years.

Apple Watch for work
Several G Shocks (tough solars)… great for weekends, outside work, vacations, etc.
Few Citizens (Eco-Drive) easy to maintain
LIV Automatic
Casio Edifice Black (Ltd Edition)
Newest addition… Longines VHP Conquest

…I like watches… always have, always will…always have one on except when sleeping.

Today, this one. I have a problem with watches and admit it! Would have to go actually count but I probably have almost 30 watches, all but three mechanical and mostly dive watches. I do have two Omegas and two Breitlings. The rest are smaller micro-brands.

I have quite a few watches and absolutely LOVE them!

I've bought, sold and traded a bunch of watches over the years from Rolex, Panerai and Omega, but mostly Rolex. I've actually earned about $25K in doing so. Right now, my watches are over the moon in value and I could make over $500K profit (I didn't add a zero by accident LOL and one watch is the bulk of that value).

My current lineup:
2018 Rolex Ceramic Daytona - 116500 (black dial, bought new) - worth about $45K now
2016 Rolex Ceramic Submariner - 116610LV (Hulk) - worth about $22K now
1973 Rolex GMT Pepsi - 1675 (traded a BLNR for it) - worth about $19K now
1971 Rolex Paul Newman Daytona - 6263 (was my grandfathers watch) - worth about ???,??? now
Panerai Ceramic Submersible Carbotech - PAM00960 - worth around $12K now
Hamilton Khaki Navy - nice all around lower priced watch

Stopped wearing a watch 4 years ago and not missed it once. Plus every time I got a new one I scratch the glass within a few weeks.

Interesting thread OP.

Recently got into watches. My 7 year old daughter is already saying " why do you need anymore"!

Nothing too fancy. I enjoy wearing them. Sample attached….

My grandfather loved to go to the races in the late '60s and early '70s. He would go to everything from Indycar to dirt track racing and he loved to time laps, so the chrono function on the Daytona was perfect.
It didn't hurt that Rolex couldn't really sell these watches when they were new.
He ended up getting a deal on the watch at the time since it was just sitting at the dealer for a while. I think he said around $300.
I was literally the only person in our family that even remotely liked watches and I would talk to him often about them. I don't ever remember him wearing it, but he showed it to me often and it was just kept in the safe.
I was shocked when he willed it to me. The ironic thing is, no one in the family even knows how much it's really worth. They just think it's a Rolex so it's expensive, they just don't know how much.
Now it's insured for about as much as my house replacement LOL! It's no leaving my wrist anytime soon either.
