Start and dies after replacing Starter

My X3 2007 starter went out and I replaced it. Now when i start it in the morning or when engine is cold, it starts and dies but when I accelerate a bit to keep it started it stay started and smooth running. There are no codes that show up. After the engine is warm I don't have this issue, only when it's cold. I'm just trying to figure out what is amiss. Could it be the throttle body because I didn't clean it or connected the fuel injectors wrong. What should I look for? Any help would be appreciated.

Vanos solenoids...yes I would clean both disa valves for starters.
