06 E83 Clunking on left side when hitting a bump

When on a bumpy road I hear/feel a rattling or clunking.
It feels like it's coming from near my feet on the driver's side.
What might be causing it?
I crawled under there but can't find anything loose but it requires some pretty bumpy roads to reproduce.

Can you replicate from speed bumps? More often than not, it's a bad bushing. One of the more common sources are worn roll bar linkages, especially if it's like a clunk noise but no other issues. Front control arms bushings and ball joints wear out anytime after 100k miles on these cars, as well as tie rod ball joints.

I have about 270k on my X3, and recently had this issue. I couldn't figure out what it was until it got louder. Ended up being both the driver side strut assembly (mount went bad) and sway bar end link.
