I did, but at the time when I was looking to place my order there was no information on the GV70 available.
IX was always going to be out of my budget.
Now that both these cars are out in the public domain I probably would still be choosing the iX3.

Thought I would update the thread, order the ix3 pro at the end of May and I was told by the supplying dealer that it will be built next week and estimated to arrive by 31/8 but judging by the UK delivery thread that might be optimistic!

Agree, although closer to 14 weeks from order, but still in the current climate and build delays seems optimistic…..

Originally the estimated delivery was 31/7 at the start of May, but order process through work was not slick.

The supplying dealer told me BMW had offered a batch of cars to dealers for quick delivery and they were over subscribed, but my order was apparently lucky enough to get allocated.

Time will tell….

I ordered my BMW IX3 M Sport Pro in January of this year (2022), the delivery estimate was for the end of July (2022) but 2 weeks ago they sent an email that there will be a delay and the new estimate is for September(2022) .

Mine too is due mid September, my order went in in April this year, it was first due end of September, then end of August, then 2nd week in September, now it 3rd week in September, ETA currently moving regular

I am getting through a lease and I think I got a car that dealer already had on order.

Got an update through Genius as have a factory order no. At code 120 (is that a valid code?) awaiting production scheduled for wk29 which apparently is next week, so will be a miracle if it gets delivered 31/8 as estimated. Judging by others build journeys posted, it seems October might more realistic…..

Sorry you are right, original intention was to understand peoples comparisons, but secondary was to validate a buying decision and it confirmed what I suspected that the Ix3 was overall a good package.

Problem is not that many new options at the mo, but some interesting ones on the horizon. Might be worth another thread!
