Wow. Looks beautiful. Haven't seen that combo yet. Let me guess....

1. No kids
2. No pets
3. You don't allow anyone to eat or drink in your car.

I saw the oyster in the dealer showroom on an M40i. It was beautiful, then I looked closer. It was already turning blue just from people sitting in it in the showroom. That interior has to be high maintenance. That said, there are some excellent sealants on the market that will block color transfer from jeans and the like. I would deliver that car straight to the detailer before I picked it up. Congrats again on the unusual combination. You're brave with good taste!

Glad it worked out - although a tough decision for you, the F97/98 can definitely help to fill that void. Looking forward to reading your thoughts when you get some miles in.

Thank you both for the reply. Would the dealer be able to put a sealant on the seats or would need to take it to a special shop that does that kind of work you think.

That is really nice. You're a braver man than I!

Let us know your thoughts versus the F90 when you get a few miles on it. I really wanted one, but decided to get into something less expensive and went with the F97 instead.

Great Looking X4M. Enjoy in good health. I love the Ivory interior. I had it on my F10 and my wife's X5, even with Kids and pets it worked out great.

Don't give the light interior a second thought -- great choice and you will love it. I had the silverstone (very light grey) in my e60 M5 for 11 years, three children, track use, etc., and it held up great. I have a similar color in my current car and love it.

Unless you're in tight with your dealer, research the aftermarket sealants available and go to a reputable detailer. Dealers usually lick their lips over these types of requests, and they can seriously overcharge. YMMV. I executed my PPF and leather sealant through detailers of my choice post-sale.

As MrItaly stated, be careful when asking the dealer. You could shop around for a good shop nearby and the dealer might let them go to the showroom and prep the car there.

Been hearing good reviews regarding Gyeon leather shield . going to order it off amazon for $50.00 then will keep up with the ivory interior with Lexol conditioner and cleaner to maintain.

Very nice! It's more elegant looking in the light interior. You're definitely braver than I'd be. I've got kids & pets in the car, but even without, I'm not coordinated enough to keep things pristine!

I would spray the wheels black. Will create a very nice contrast.

X4M Southfla., thanks for sharing. Fantastic does not even begin to describe the car.

Our other family car is X5 with ivory interior. Dye transfer from blue jeans will occur. It's only a matter of time so frequent cleaning and leather care is recommended. I haven't yet investigated leather sealant products. All suggestions appreciated.
