A few years back we had a mini JCW, I went to town with a dual action plusher, I was shocked by the pics, I never knew you could make blacks almost like a mirror.

It would be interesting if anyone happens to have their F97 or F98 wheels off for winter tire swaps to be able to get a weight on our OEM wheels and tires. I haven't found any documented weights online yet. If I were to ever make a change, personally I'd only do it for a lighter weight wheel and not just for the aesthetics alone. Thanks, JustChris - that's a beautiful mirror look on your image! |

For sure – I really would like to see a number of stock runs being shared across all Mnfrs in this group. Not for bragging rights at all, but for me, to get a feel for how the aerodynamics, engines, and transmissions pan out in the real world. Formal ¼ mile runs at sanctioned tracks with date, time, and DA values. And again, nothing to do with this deciding on which vehicle one should purchase, just analyzing how these play out under comparable conditions. Thanks, PARTS@STBMW. They were easy to make, and an excuse to learn another skill! Premium leather remants and ‘scraps’ in virtually any color are easily found online nowadays, so unlimited possibilities.
