Tried coding 5 blink turn signals on my pre lci X3 with no success in ESYS.

Anyone get it to work and what was your method?

Do you know if this can this be done in Expert Mode in Bimmercode?

Maybe, I don't know since I don't use bimmercode. Try it.

I'm going to. Just thought I'd check to see if you had first. I'll try it after work and report back. Thanks!

I did that, however it never took. I was having some trouble changing the wert value in ESYS. Maybe I'm doing that part wrong..

BimmerCode has the option in expert mode, but I'd rather get it working with ESYS instead of buying the app.

If e-sys can't do it then bimmercode won't be able to.

It's as easy as 1,2,3. Did if fail to change the new werte value? Did you do this:

From what I recall, you can't change the tap to blink count on the X3.

Bimmercode makes you think you can by having some parameters you can change in expert mode. There's a box where it was default to 0x04. You can only change the numbers after the x. I changed it to several different numbers. Tried 5, 6, 7... didn't change anything. Still just blinks 3 times. Oh well.

I didn't think to take screenshots of the expert mode screen. Sorry.

Ok, it worked on a F30, but like hardparker said, I guess you can't change on the X3 . It may also have something to do with the I-step version too.

Not so funny story... My dealer reset everything in my F30 today when they did some kind of software flash for my HVAC.

I've got all my coding redone except for the blinkers set to blink 5 times. I used to have this coded on my F30, but now I can't find the module in Bimmercode.

I posted a new thread in the F30 forum to see if anyone knows if they moved it or removed it from Bimmercode completely.

Don't think so. My son's 2017 Elantra lets you go all the way up to 7. It's all done in the settings menu in the car. No coding needed.
