Hey guys,

Does anyone known a little about factory orders and custom builds?

I was so excited a few days ago to place a custom order for a June 2020 X4M, just perfect the way I want it, WITH ID7. Made a deposit, signed, everything was good. Two days later, sales guy called to tell me they won’t product anything before July as 2021 models...

Is it true? Are there NO X3/4Ms model year 2020 built post April 2020 with ID7 or is the dealer feeding me bullshit.

I believe all MY2020 are already built and what ever is being made now after the COVID-19 lockdown are MY2021

2020's don't have ID7.

Allocations for 2020 models were gone back in March. The 2021 models were originally going to come out around June but that got pushed back from lock down.

My 2021 X3M is complete and has been sitting in Spartanburg since 16 May.
