What do you think of the ECU tune that mission tuning has just put out? Don't know whether to do that or JB4. What I like about their tune is that their numbers have been achieved with 91 octane because they're based in California just like me. I don't know exactly what kind of gains I'd be looking at with 91 octane with JB4.

Finished replacing the front fender reflectors
With help provided here (suggested tooling) finally got around to replacing the orange front reflectors. Much cleaner look I think. (Car is a X30i Mineral White Metallic color).

Tonight, I jumped off the ledge and ordered H&R springs along with a JB4 and a BMS Intake! I am hoping for more hystarical laughing and ear to ear grins in my "wife's" X3 M40i I'm also interested in seeing how the M40i with these mods compare to my 2017 M4 Competition Package! Although no contest for my 700hp+ X5M, this car is pretty quick right out of the box! |

Looks nice...but not road legal in the USA. See sections 12.12.2 and 12.12.4 here.

Did you guys see that Dinan finally released the stage 1 tune? $1300 and it appears that it is only adding 30hp/torque at the wheels. Has anyone been able to peg the JB4 down in terms of HP/Torque increase? I was hoping for way better numbers from Dinan. I know most of the other cars have a Stage 2 or 3 tune that can end up with around 100+ extra hp/torq...but not sure that can be done in ours with the design of the turbo/intercooler etc from some info I've seen on the boards...I emailed Dinan about whether they'd be releasing a package with better increases but have yet to hear back. Anyone else know?

Dinan posted some info in another thread here, along with some dyno charts. Sounds like the M40i motor is already outputting way higher than BMW's quoted HP specs and I got the impression there wasn't much more gain to be had.

This will trump all the previous posts for being the worst addition......added a new security system to the garage where I store my winter wheels! I will spare you pictures of the sensors!
Have a couple of sets in there - so the value adds up!!!! |

Installed Blackvue DR750 that I had in my truck previously before I traded it. I bought an OSBII power plug for a simple hardwire install. It does have a switch for ACC or Park mode.
