Draw Tite hitch users
I'm interested in your thoughts about the 2 Draw Tite hitches available for the X3 MC.
The Stealth hitch is just too much $$ so I'm leaning towards DT. I use the hitch to put in and take out the Jet Ski 2 times a year. Across the road. Pull a small utility trailer for yard waste a couple times a year. I will use a 1UP USA bike rack also. Not much more. If you have one of the DT models, I'd like to hear you thoughts. |

Have used the traditional DT hitch to tow my Yamaha 195s boat.
No issues.

Got a picture of the rear with the hitch. I'm drawn between the hidden version and the normal one.

Hey Thanks for the pictures. Really appreciate it. you don't find too many driving around to take a look at.
The difference between the hidden and the normal is $200 maybe I can find a M performance sticker to put on the plug. |

Did you mean the drawtite 76226? Which year x3mc was it installed on? How did the install go? Did you need to modify anything?

22' as pictured above, install is super easy and dont need to remove the entire bumper, just the black lower valance, provided you have some swivel joints and extentions, nothing needed cutting or drilling at all. |

Also looking for an answer to this, albeit with a small twist as I have the CF exterior package. So I'm not sure if there are differences in the CF vs standard rear diffuser.

I just installed the DrawTite 76906 on my 2020 X3MC last Thursday.
Installation was pretty simple, I opted to only remove the lower section of trim on the rear bumper, not just the black section, but the lower part painted section. I was able to fit the hitch in under the bumper with the help of my girlfriend who lifted up slightly on the upper bumper. No cutting or other modification was required and is completely hidden. Overall, the hitch fits great and is easy to use with my bike rack. |

Perfect timing, I just ordered the same hitch. Should be here this week.
Any tips on removing the bottom part of the bumper? Is that a One UP rack? |

Just finished up installing my hitch. Pictures would look lust like the above.
Only took off the bottom half of the bumper cover. Don't do it when the temp is cold out as you have to flex the cover alot. Hardest part was access to the top bolts on the bumper beam. Of all the tools I have, I found out I didn't have a 18mm deep well socket. Now I do. |
