Thanks. Saved me from buying the wireless adapter. I already have a enet cable. Will just by the LAN adapter.

So I just went thru all threads regarding the 'seatbelt reminder' chime...tons of folks claimed they did it, but nobody mentioned the steps. I'm using Bimmercode. I've made driver and passenger chime "not active" yet it still chimes.
Someone mentioned having to do more but didn't state what
Does anyone know the additional coding step with Bimmercode?

So today I took my X3 for a service. They did the Rear View Camera recall while it was in there. I went to code my car again after the update and now I can't access the BCD Body module or the Roof module - it says no coding data. I have the ODB Link MX+ adapter and have coded previously those modules. It seems some had similar issue in the past but now working OK. App is up to date. Any ideas how to resolve this?

There are two kinds of chimes. The first one sounds when you start the engine with your seat belt unbuckled. The second one sounds when the vehicle is moving while the seat belt is unbuckled (or when you unbuckle it while driving). Which chime are you trying to disable?

Email the app developer. Most likely the app data must be updated, so he must issue an update.

Ours is a UK G01 car and a long press on the tailgate button does close the tailgate.

If you take your finger off the button as it's closing, it's stops where it is.

We have comfort access so I'm not sure if that makes this possible?

There should be a way to figure out how to get it on m40s with dkombi2, just nobody has figured out the settings yet.

We need someone with an x3m to see their settings, or share a VIN so we can calculate in esys and toeknmasters diff tool
Hmmm, yeah the cluster seems to be the same, its just graphics right? ha

Try this in BimmerCode expert mode:

Module = ACSM5 (not sure if it's called ACSM5 or simply ACSM in BimmerCode)
Branch = 3001 Gurtwarnung
Item = SbrIwEnb
Value = nicht_aktiv [00] (it is aktiv [01] from factory)

Anyone can recommend a decent inexpensive coding adapter? I had a MHD but in process of returning it due to my car's software being on the latest version which will not let me flash the car. (2020 X3 M40)

Thanks in advance

I like the OBDLink MX+. You can get them a bit below retail on eBay.

Use the enet adapter and OBDII cable suggested via Bimmercode. I had an OBDII cable already, but bought the suggested enet to lighting adapter and everything went smoothly on my 2020 M40i

https://bimmercode.app/adapters/

Most people use MX+, some with iPhone are using cable, Android users probably mostly UniCarScan, as it was the first adapter recommended to work with all coding options.

I see. I heard US version including mine car does not have this feature out of door. it has to be coded.

On my M40i I get the Welcome screen and then when I clear that I get the IDrive warning screen, so two button pushes to start..

Does coding out the Idrive 'warning' screen at startup also get rid of that "Welcome" screen? Or can you remove the latter through some Idrive setting?

Are these things really limited to certain codings depending on the adapter? I already have the ENET cable because i was using that for BM3 but can't flash it (for now). So I'm gonna keep the cable regardless. So i guess i should just buy the ENET to lightning. Should be faster i assume ?? Since it's direct connection

Couldn't find anything but found it on amazon. I don't know why their so expensive. does this one give you certain extra options for coding compared to other ones?? I'm about to just buy the ENET to iPhone since i already have the wire

PS
Keep in mind i don't need it for anything else to monitor anything, i just need it to code certain little tweaks that's all. There's a few more things i need to do on expert mode that i screenshot to do later. For example, no loud 'beep' when you lock the door witht the FOb while the car is still running

Yeah, just get the cable, it works great. It's what I did for same reasons.

Nope. In fact, I'd argue you can code more just using the cable because you can continue to use your OBD to Ethernet cable with e-sys if you need to, and now your phone or iPad can use a cat5 cable. Also, there are some options that require a cable.
