Agreed, I prefer the single.

The equal really shines at high rpm, it SCREAMS.
But at low rpm, it sounds like ass.

That's my opinion, and I'm sure it won't be a popular one.

Looks like Active Autowerke is also using suppliers from China and charging double. Nothing is really made in the US, just wish these company would be transparent with their customers.

I figured; being able to find an almost identical product on Ali the DAY you release something...Sus. These companies have to know their products are going to get bootlegged over there.

I am not entirely surprised that most, if not all, of the supplies to make these systems come from China. Doesn't necessarily mean the entire AA exhaust is produced complete in China and ready to ship to customers. Unless I am mistaken its sounding like the Ali EL mids don't sound anything like AA's, for example.

Active doesn't get items from China and just resells them. They get raw materials and basic stuff from China and they wield and design everything in-house in Miami. That's why it's not so common to find 100% Active Autowerke replicas in China.

Anyone can visit their location in Florida and see their wielders working all day on making the products and having them ready to ship.

Consider the recent release of the X3m Midpipe. We were shipping several of these daily, and it took about a month to complete all the orders. If the delay was due to awaiting a container, all the orders would have been shipped on the same day. As previously mentioned, you can actually visit their facility and see the welders building the products right before your eyes.

The response will be whatever people want to tell themselves to justify buying a cheap, knockoff, and in most cases inferior product. I'll admit I am just stirring the pot, but in my experience you really do get what you pay for.

They fit well, no issues, sound good. It’s not as bad as you think anymore. These “knock off” products are beating so many companies because it’s essentially the same thing that’s cheaper. However knock off isn’t the word because now everything is made in China. It’s crazy I know. Companies realize they can bring up their margin like crazy by dropshipping ali products. Some not all of them are like that.

Just a small difference with getting material from china for your shop to build and fabricate stuff compared to buying and reselling a premade product.
