A week 5 build would be finishing production this week. My week 6 X3MC build started production on 1/25 and is due to finish production on 2/8.

You may be in trouble. My new X3 is a week 5 build and it's done leaving the factory today.

Yeah that seems a bit off. Mine went to "Scheduled for Production" almost 2 weeks ago so I called the genius line and they said week 8 February 21st production date. You should call the genius line ASAP.

Besides that I helped a client of mine get an X3M 4.0i allocation this past week and they got a message today (1 day after paying the deposit) that the 3D camera option was deleted from their build. 1 day for their accepted order and scheduled for production.

Just got an allocation and ordered a 2022 X3M. I was told that the Harmon Kardon stereo was back in production. Looked my production number up and I do not see the Harmon Kardon listed under options.

Does anyone else see a Harmon Kardon listed on their current builds?

All M series cars have Harmon Kardon currently, they protected that series supply specifically.

I believe this rings true for most if not all the optioned tech items; they allocate those options to true M vehicles first. I saw that on another thread here. Which would explain my previous post about the X3 M 4.0i deleted 3D camera option.

Just got off the phone with the genius, my car is in production now finishing by end of the week- so not too far off what I was told. Now I hope there are truck drivers to get it to Arizona.

They bring them via box car (train) from SC to the west coast to the local PDC then truck them to the local sales center is what I was advised. AZ could be different but you can check with genius.

Both my 2021 X3M and son's 2022 X3 40i have "Harmon Kardon" listed on the window stickers as well as under "My BMW Garage" bmw use app where is shows all of the cars options as built. When I pull up my newly ordered 2022 X3M on my app, it does not list Harmon Kardon anywhere. I find that a little unsettling, but it may change when it starts production?

I did take a hard look at a 2022 X3M very similar to the one I am building and it did NOT have the Harmon Kardon option. I discussed this with the sales rep in detail and was told that the Harmon Kardon stereo had not be an option on that particular vehicle when they ordered it.

That was my primary reason for wondering if those who have their X3M's a bit ahead of my order (and in production) had H&K definitively in their builds..

I ordered through Valencia BMW, and placed my order the first week of December.

When did you place your order and where? I’m so curious?

I’m so excited and the wait is killing me.

Ordered 1/11/22 and I'm in Los Angeles. I purchased 2 vehicles from Valencia BMW in the past; my first X5 5.0i then an M5. Great sales center! What build did you order?

Thanks for the link and info RFGuy- but tried it and it would not work for me. Maybe because I am using a MAC?? Oh well, my X4M Comp should be finished in 2 days, nothing I can do now anyways....

Didn't work for me either; I'm on a Mac. I did get tot eh background page through extensions but I can't seem to get to the last part….ha
