2.0d engine

My wife a has F25 X3 which has a N47 2.0d engine.

I have noticed that there is a slight knocking noise which is most evident on idle. If I touch the throttle pedal ever so slightly the noise goes away. I literally have to increase revs by about 100rpm.

I pulled the engine cover off today and noticed the you can see the airbox and other bits vibrating. Again if I increase by 100 revs it stops.

Here is a video. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xNn...DHzL5SXsO/view

Car is going to dealer next to have it looked at but wanting to find out if this is normal or not?

Does your 2.0d engine vibrate like this?

My 28d does not vibrate like that and my engine is also the N47. Maybe a loose, or worn motor mount.

Just curious, do 2.0 liter diesels in the UK or Australia have a DEF system? The reason for asking the question is that US diesels may be equipped with a different emission system and possibly different behavior at idle. FYI my 28d does not vibrate at idle.

Engine itself sounds great at idle. I also subscribe to the motor mount opinion.
